Method for dynamic protection of payment data during a transaction includes: receiving card track data by the device; encryption by the device of the card track data, using a primary key; sending, by the device, card track data to a first server; receiving, by the device in response to sending secure card track data, a working key for the card track data from the first server; generating, by the device, a temporary dynamic card verification code (dCVV) in the form of a cryptogram based on the card track data, timestamp and working key; increasing the value of the counter in the timestamp; and sending, by the device, modified card track data to the point of sale terminal or displaying the modified card track data to a user for use in e-commerce, where the modified card track data includes dCVV and card track data.

EFFECT: technical result is dynamic protection of existing static card data when using already existing payment reception infrastructure, instead of having to change the infrastructure itself and integrate each user.
