FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes the acidification of an initial solution, which contains the said mono-, di and trinitrophenols, addition of a polymer and the following photometric determination of nitrophenols. The solution is passed through a glass column with a diameter of 0.5 cm, filled with the polymer based on N-vinylpyrrolidone and ethyleneglycoldimethacrylate with a weight of 0.05 g, with a volume elution rate of 1 cm3/min.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to effectively extract 2,4,6-trinitrophenol from water solutions with the high degree of extraction.
