FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: beam-emitting device comprises: a cylinder; a radiation source located in the cylinder for emitting a beam; a collimator located in the cylinder. The collimator enables the beam emitted by the radiation source to form sectorial beams in a plurality of positions in the axial direction of the cylinder. The cylinder has a part which forms narrow beams, said part being located along the axial line of the cylinder which corresponds to said plurality of positions. The sectorial beams take the shape of narrow beams through the part which forms narrow beams when the cylinder turns about the axis of rotation.
