FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. The method of extracting rare-earth elements from wet-process phosphoric acid includes passing the starting wet-process phosphoric acid through a column with a sorbent at 20-85°C and then passing a desorbing solution. The sorbent used is a strongly basic gel-type anionite. The anionite is first converted into a mixed ionic form in equilibrium with the processed wet-process phosphoric acid by passing the wet-process phosphoric acid through the column with the anionite until the composition of the solution exiting the column is equal the composition of the wet-process phosphoric acid entering said column. Desorption is carried out with diluted phosphoric acid. The acid-impoverished and rare-earth element-rich colloidal solution formed after passing through the anionite is taken for separation of the solid concentrate of rare-earth elements. The starting wet-process phosphoric acid is passed through the column with the sorbent from the bottom upwards and the desorbing solution is fed from the top downwards.
EFFECT: invention reduces consumption of reagents for desorption of rare-earth elements and regeneration of the ionite material, improves technological efficiency of the process of separating the concentrate of rare-earth elements from wet-process phosphoric acid.
