FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: evaluation of the affection of main arteries of the lower extremities in points is performed. Then the outflow channel consistency coefficient (OCCC) is calculated on the basis of the obtained data by an original mathematical formula, and if OCCC coefficient is 0.8±0.18 the expected duration of the shunt patency constitutes 0.68±0.1 year, if the coefficient is 1.22±0.05 - 2.33±0.58 year, if it is 1.28±0.13 - 3.80±1.30 year, if it is 1.65±0.25 - over 5 years.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to realise the prediction of shunt functioning duration with high reliability due to taking into account collateral blood circulation and ischemia degree.
