SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery, and can be used to determine the target artery for surgical revascularization of patients with critical ischemia of the lower limb. Perform electroneuromyography. Determine the conductivity parameters of the nerve trunks of the affected lower limb: the nerve conduction velocity for the tibial and peroneal nerves. Compare the measurement results with each other. In the presence of differences of 5 % or more – with a greater decrease in the nerve conduction velocity of the tibial nerve, revascularization of the posterior tibial artery circulation is performed, with a greater decrease in the nerve conduction velocity of the peroneal nerve, revascularization of the anterior tibial artery circulation is performed. In the presence of differences of less than 5 % in the nerve conduction velocity, revascularization of both vascular pools is performed.
EFFECT: method allows highly specific determination of the target artery for surgical revascularization of patients with critical ischemia of the lower limb by evaluating and comparing the nerve conduction velocity for the tibial and peroneal nerves.
