FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fodder production, in particular, to manufacture of fodders produced by way of green mass ensilage. Into the daily dose of the silage mass one introduces calcium oxide in the form of a powdery composition till the medium pH level is equal to 6.5-7. Into the silage mass one additionally introduces caciferol or products containing vitamin D in an amount ensuring caciferol content in the ready product no less than 14600 ME per kg of animal live weight.
EFFECT: invention implementation ensures silage acidity reduction by way of organic acids mixture neutralisation and obtainment of quality fodder with silage pH value coincident with the animal gastric acidity.
