SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture. The method comprises the step of producing the bale and the first step of packaging. The first step of packaging comprises winding the tape of packaging material on the frame device which is made with the ability to be movable relative to the tunnelling device for forming a tunnel structure comprising the packaging material, location of the tunnel structure so that the open output end of the tunnelling device is located inside the tunnel structure, moving the bale from the open outlet end of the tunnelling device at least partially to the tunnel structure for attachment of the tunnel structure to the bale. The device comprises a dispenser and a packing device. The device is made with the ability to be connected to the conveying device and driving the bale and the packing device in such motion relative to each other that the bale can pass past the packing device in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first plane of rotation. The conveying device comprises a tunnelling device having an open outlet end for feeding a bale from the tunnelling device. The device comprises a frame device. The frame and the packaging devices can be moved relative to each other so that the packing device winds the packaging material on the frame device to form a tunnel structure. The frame device can be located relative to the open outlet end of the tunnelling device so that the open output end of the tunnelling device is located inside the tunnel structure. The tunnel structure is formed by winding of the packaging material on the frame device so that the bale is moved into the tunnel structure. The group of inventions comprises the use of the method or the device for producing non-wound packaged bales.

EFFECT: possibility to produce both non-wound and wound packaged bales is ensured.
