FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a device for sampling from the body cavities, particularly for vaginal and/or cervical sampling. The above sampling device comprises a tube, a sampling element, a piston and a projection limit stop. The tube has an open proximal end of the tube and an open distal end of the tube. The piston has a proximal end of the piston and a distal end of the piston. The piston is inserted into the tube with the distal end of the piston projecting from the distal end of the tube, and represents a carrier of the sampling element at the proximal end of the tube. The piston is movable in the proximal direction inside the tube from the retracted position of insertion into the projected position of sampling. In the position of insertion, the sampling element is integrated inside the tube and projects from the tube in the position of sampling. The projection limit stop specifies the maximum projection, whereat the sampling element can be projected from the proximal end of the tube. The projection limit stop comprises a projection stop lock inside the tube which if viewed in the axial direction of the piston, fixes the relative position of the piston in relation to the tube at the maximum projection. A method for making the above sampling device involves the following stages. The stage of unpacking, whereat the device is unpacked. The stage of inspection, whereat the sampling device before or after the stage of unpacking is viewed by the patient who should undergo sampling, wherein the sampling element projects from the tube at the stage of inspection. The stage of retraction, whereat the sampling element is retracted inside the tube into the above position of insertion by moving the piston in the distal direction, the above stage follows the stage of inspection.
EFFECT: invention provides the unassisted sampling procedure with the reliable sample collection.
