FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Retractor contains central part of body, at least, two petals, at least, two pivots, each of which is made with possibility of fixing one of, at least, two petals to central part of body, and ratchet mechanism. Ratchet mechanism is made with possibility of blocking petals and preventing petals from moving towards each other and with possibility of unblocking. Central part of body, at least two petals when they are withdrawn from each other and at least two pivots form arch. Arch provides open working space and improves visual access to posterior wall of patient's vagina for user.
EFFECT: retractor creates minimum of obstacles and possesses regulated construction, which provides open working space and improves visual access in area of patient's perineum and posterior wall of vagina to surgeon.
