FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery. A transplant on the vascular pedicle is isolated from the ileum with the length 4-5 cm, ascending and 2/3 transverse parts of the colon. Appendectomy is performed; the middle colon artery is left for blood supply. The transplant is mobilised and transferred into the minor pelvis with its placement with the mesenteric semicircle frontward. A segment of the ileum is brought on the perineum skin. After sewing the perineum wound to the intestine diameter, the intestine is fixed to the skin. The proximal end of the transplant is anastomosed with the sigmoid colon. The continuity of GIT is restored. Isoperistaltic location of right parts of the colon reduces a rate of the fecal mass movement, with the caecum performing the function of a reservoir, and the Bauhin's valve - the function of neosphincter.
EFFECT: method of surgical rehabilitation after the rectum extirpation improves indices of the anal continence, eliminates involuntary bowel emptying and improves the patient's life quality.
