FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in the field of power engineering. Each longitudinal reactor (LR) has n rods in the core and n+1 coils, and delay relay is introduced into electric drive circuit of its first coil switch. According to the method upon actuation of an ice detector the first switch shunting the first LR coil is switched off, then each metre of each n component of L0 section is impacted magnetically by Ampere force directed from the wire axis with industrial frequency, for this purpose each time of the ice detector actuation in any one section, for example, the second section … and in Nth L0 section time is switched off by cascade for the period of t seconds and then the switch shunting the first LR coil is switched on. The LR core has n/2+1 rods, at that at each rod out of n/2 there are two coils opposed to each other and connected in series between the first and each n component of the coil. In result of phase shift to equal angles Ampere force is similar to an impact, and ice cohesion with wire surface (n component) is destroyed and ice under own weight is removed (falls) to the ground.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of protection.
