SUBSTANCE: drive shaft (1) with slotted joint (3) protector (2) comprises two hinges (4, 5), moving roller (6) including body (7) coupled with the hinge (4) and provided with inner splines (8) and rod (9) coupled with hinge (5) with outer splines (10) arranged in body (7) to splined joint (3) sealed with protector (2). Device (2) is composed of jacket (11) with corrugated section (12) with equal OD crimps (C) coupled with their recesses (13) by their vertices and extreme crimps (18, 19) coupled by outer walls (16, 17) with locating sections of jacket (11) of larger and smaller diameter (20, 21) locked by clips (24, 25) at locating sections (22, 23) of body (7) and rod (9). Vertices (14) of crimps (C) and recesses (13) are made in jacket cross-section (11) in its lengthwise mirror axis (L) in radius and feature equal depth and have walls (26, 27) coupled there between. Circular collars (30, 31) are made in one ring groove (28, 29) are made at locating seats (22, 23). Internal generatrix (32) of outer wall (17) of crimp (19) is located with outward inclination at the angle of one to four degrees in relation to perpendicular to jacket (11) axis and features smoothly increasing bulge (33) in direction toward smaller diameter section (21) coupled therewith. Locating section (22) at body (7) coupled with hinge (4) is located closer to hinge (4) relative to hinge (4) and body end (34).
