FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: concentrate with coarseness 45-85 mcm is subjected to sulphatisation with 93% sulphuric acid. First, low temperature sulphatisation is carried out at temperature 130-170°C with mixing with sulphuric acid, taken in quantity 50-70% of the required quantity. Then, high-temperature sulphatisation is carried out at 250-300°C with mixing with residual part of sulphuric acid.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the process of sulphurisation of fluorite-containing beryllium concentrates, reduced consumption of reagents and process duration due to exclusion of labour-consuming operations of abrasion and cleaning of equipment at selected temperature modes, concentrate coarseness and ratios of reacting components.
