SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Described are techniques for using wireless devices for realising sensor networks. A wireless device receives sensor information from at least one sensor in a wireless device and sends the sensor information and the associated location and/or time stamp information via a wireless system. A server receives sensor information and associated information from a certain number of wireless devices, aggregates the sensor information and constructs a map.
EFFECT: wireless device can develop a user profile based on sensor information and associated information.
