FIELD: mining operations.

SUBSTANCE: device for pumping froth product of flotation processing comprises a sump and a pump. The sump is made in the form of a conical container with tangential inlet of froth product and an outlet of pulp into the pump and is provided with nozzles for input of froth product and for connecting to the pump. The bottom of the conical container is its smaller base. In the centre of the container bottom there is a truncated cone, mounted with the smaller base upwards. On the inner side surface of the conical container the lining is located, having protrusions, made of wear-resistant material. The lower side of the lining is located at the level of the upper base of the truncated cone located in the centre of the sump bottom, and on the centre of the sump, at a distance from the bottom, equal to 0.5÷0.7 the height of the sump, an open paddle wheel is mounted, with the upper and lower paddle arrangement. The direction of rotation of the paddle wheel coincides with the direction of rotation of the pulp flow. The nozzle for input of froth product is located above the lower edges of the wheel paddles. The protrusions have a variable width in height of the lateral surface of the conical container of the sump, at that the width of the protrusion in the upper part is 3÷5 times greater than the width in its lower part.

EFFECT: increased efficiency, productivity of operation of the device for pumping the froth product for flotation processing, and reduction of energy consumptions.
