FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lifting-and-conveying machines, particularly, to load grippers. Device for gripping items with hole includes body, rod located inside the body with possibility of lengthwise movement. Toroidal shell with resilient filler is attached to lower end of the rod and to the body. Outer surface of rod in the regions of contacting with the shell is made with equally spaced longitudinal corrugations of rounded shape and with cross-section perimeter equal to perimeter of shell cross-section. Resilient non-yielding toroidal insert is used as filler of toroidal shell. Insert internal opening diameter in a free state is equal to diameter of toroidal shell folded-up inner walls. Toroidal insert surface is coated with antifriction grease.
