FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a probe in the form of a hollow shaped cannula 1 with mark notches on an outer surface. On a distal end of the cannula 1, there is an active electrode 3 configured as an oblique truncated hollow tip. The active electrode 3 comprises a temperature-sensing element 2. The temperature-sensing element 2 and active electrode 3 are connected together by current conductors 9 integrated into the cannula 1, reinforced by an input holder 4, and provided with an analogue-to-digital converter 5 and a DC transducer 6 respectively, with a passive electrode 7 being also connected. Outputs of the DC transducer 6 and the analogue-to-digital converter 5 are connected to a personal computer 8. The cannula 1 is made of a medical sterilised polymer; the holder 4 is made of rubber, while the temperature-sensing element 2 is made insulated.
EFFECT: using the invention enables the non-invasive method using no additional equipment for measuring the nasal mucosal temperature, pain sensitivity level even in difficult to access areas of the nasal cavity, and also a muco-ciliary clearance rate that ensures increasing the diagnostic accuracy and providing daily monitoring of the functional state of the nasal mucosal examined dynamically.
