FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oil neutralisation method at electrical desalting plant, which involves oil mixing with demulsifier, heating to 110-120°C and supply to the first separation stage to electric dehydrator from which the prepared oil with volume flow rate of 680-750 m3/h is supplied to inlet channel of the first section of turbulent reactor of diffuser-confuser design, where its dispersion occurs together with 1-2 wt % alkali solution introduced coaxially through end atomisers to the first section of turbulent reactor; after the reactor the oil is mixed with water and supplied for separation to electric dehydrator of the second stage so that desalted and dehydrated oil is obtained.
EFFECT: effective oil dehydration and desalting.
