FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the production of synthetic rubbers that are obtained by means of solution polymerization, in particular to the regeneration of the return solvent from the rubber separation step. Method for purifying the recycled solvent from the rubber recovery step involves rectifying the recycled solvent in the rectification column, cooling the vapors in the reflux cooler, collecting the distillate in a vessel, feeding part of the stream from the vessel as a reflux with the alkaline agent to the rectification column, pumping heavy hydrocarbons, toluene and alkaline agent from the bottom of the column at the toluene extraction step into the toluene purification column, where the separation into the toluene fraction and the heavy hydrocarbons takes place, the return of the bottom product of the rectification column containing the alkaline agent, where the return of the bottom product containing the unspent alkaline agent, is produced in the amount from 10 up to 90 % into the rectification column that is pre-mixed with the feed stream in the tubular turbulent apparatus of the diffuser-confuser structure and directed to the middle of the column.

EFFECT: cleaning of the return solvent during the production of synthetic rubber from halogen-containing impurities, maintaining a neutral environment in it in order to prevent corrosion of equipment, improved safety of production of solution polymers.
