SUBSTANCE: apparatus for foiling of fuel element cladding contains rollers, a lodgement, a bar with a cylinder, sponges and a foil flanging unit. The lodgement is designed as a tee element with intermediate and end walls. On one end wall the bar with the cylinder equal to the diameter of the tablet of the fissionable material is fixed. Between intermediate and another end walls the mobile carriage moving along shelves of the tee element is installed. The cylinder is enclosed by radially moving sponges. In front of sponges the radial foil flanging unit is placed. The device is installed at an angle to the horizon, and the carriage is designed with a weight capable to withstand the moment of free rotation of the drive reducer.
EFFECT: simplification of the mechanism of movement of heat-producing element shell.
