FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: guard contains vertical posts embedded into the roadway ground, joined by the movable obstruction elements mounted on them. The last-mentioned are designed in the form of a system of flexible steel straight rods, curved before they take the deflected position of stable equilibrium, by the longitudinal compressive forces applied to them by means of load-bearing elements, exceeding its critical value for each rod, and facing to the roadway by convex sides. Load-bearing elements are designed in the form of blind hole in the rack for free displacement of one end of the rod and threaded sleeve, screwed on the threaded portions with different direction of the thread, made on the other end of the rod and stud, rigidly fixed coaxially to the shaft on the rack adjacent to them.

EFFECT: road guard is designed to improve the safety of traffic.
