FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: barrier comprises vertical stands deepened into road surface soil and connected by barrier elements mounted on them. The latter are made in the form of a system of plates from spring steel that are vertically installed next to each other and are a part of a hollow cylinder, and have two stable working states characterises by reverse convexity and a relay transition from one state to the other under action of a critical outer transverse load, reverse convexity. Plates face the road surface with their convexities and are connected to each other by adjacent ribs with the help of flexible strong ties.
