FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves roasting of a pre-crushed mixture of a concentrate with sodium chloride with the collection in a condenser of the formed molybdenum dihydroxychloride with its processing into ammonium paramolybdate. Then, leaching of a solid residue is performed first with water, and then with alkali liquor with the further obtainment from the solution of ammonium paramolybdate or molybdenum trioxide. Preliminary crushing of the roasted mixture of the concentrate with sodium chloride allows obtaining in the roasted product of up to 60-70% of molybdenum included in water-soluble compounds at the roasting temperature of up to 450°C.
EFFECT: reduction of costs for an alkali at leaching of the solid residue due to the formation during the roasting process of the solid water-soluble molybdenum compounds.
