FIELD: hydrometallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in complex processing of spent catalysts. The spent molybdenum-cobalt-aluminium-containing catalyst is washed with water at a ratio of 1:5, then blown with water vapor at a temperature of 100–130°C. The resulting residue is sintered with ammonium chloride at a temperature of 280–300°C and leached with water.
EFFECT: simplified instrumentation of processing molybdenum-cobalt-containing catalysts and increased efficiency of processing.
