FIELD: traffic control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices that prevent the progress of wheeled vehicles by means of a forced stop, and is intended to prevent unauthorized passage along a controlled section of the highway. The roadblock includes a horizontal axial beam and supports attached to it, made of sheets of high-strength steel with a hardness of 50 - 60 HRC and having the shape of an equilateral triangle, the sides of which are concave inward in an arc. Each support is made of at least two sheets of high-strength steel located at a distance of 0.07 - 0.2 sides of an equilateral triangle. The sheets of each support are interconnected by metal lintels made at a distance from the axis of the beam equal to 0.5 - 0.9 of the radius of the circumference enclosing the support.
EFFECT: ensuring sufficient rigidity of the structure to resist the resulting deformation, as well as providing a stopping effect on the approaching vehicle due to the guaranteed introduction of the tops of the supports into the roadbed, which eliminates its shift and slippage.
