FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: electroflotator contains case with branch pipes for supply of sewage and discharge of pure water and a branch pipe for discharge of foam, as well as anode and cathode placed in case. Case is divided into electroflotation chamber and chamber of after-purification with catalyst vertical partition and lower overflow, in upper part of electroflotation separate compartment is made for hydrogen accumulation, in upper part of after-purification chamber special compartment is made for accumulation of oxygen, which are provided with discharge pipelined of hydrogen and oxygen respectively. Cathode and anode are placed perpendicularly to each other in electroflotation chamber. Anode is cylinder-shaped, and is located on vertical axis of chamber, cathode is made in form of net and is located below anode horizontally. Gas-distributing grid with charge for catalyst located on it is rigidly fixed in lower part of after-purification chamber.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of sewage water purification from emulsified organic substances.
