FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed according to this invention are a food preparation device and a method for assisting the user in food preparation through tips on timely step-by-step performance of preparatory operations. The device contains a presenter designed so that to enable presentation of information on the first preparatory operation for the first main operation, a detector designed so that to detect whether the first preparatory operation has been performed and an actuating mechanism designed so that to enable performance of the first main operation. The user does not need to monitor the food preparation process anymore. All they need to do is perform the corresponding preparatory operations in accordance with the hints or instructions.
EFFECT: usage of the device and method as per this invention will allow to significantly simplify the process of food preparation by the user.
