SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. A method of deleting recorded information from a microchip with an inhomogeneous semiconductor data medium with non-volatile memory, based on irradiation of the microchip with a multiplier of amplified alternating electromagnetic fields of an impedance coil and a capacitor, with exposure time of said fields of not more than 0.5 ms, wherein the microchip is simultaneously irradiated with an electromagnetic field which is the sum of three alternating electromagnetic fields, for which the microchip is placed in said field. A first field generated by the impedance coil with frequency of 500±50 kHz with constant amplitude of a sinusoidal pulse, with intensity of not more than 550 kA/m; a second field between capacitor plates, which are mounted in planes of different ends of the impedance coil, and a third multiplier field formed by doubling the electromagnetic field strength of the impedance coil and the capacitor.
EFFECT: high reliability with a contactless method of deleting information.
