FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of batteries. The present invention describes the unit and the method of manufacture of the packaged electrode. The unit for manufacture of packaged electrode comprises: a transportation device designed with a possibility of consecutive imposing at each other of an electrode and a pair of separators from the front in the direction of transportation during transportation of an electrode and a pair of separators; and the connecting device designed with a possibility of connection with each other of side edges of the pair of separators. In this manufacture unit the connection is performed many times from the front end towards the direction transportation, and each connection is made when moving the connecting device so that the speed of the connecting device with reference to the speed of transportation of the work piece W comes closer to zero.
EFFECT: decrease of duration of the cycle of packaging of electrode between the pair of separators allowing to improve the efficiency of manufacture of the packaged electrodes.
