SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for mutation testing of radio-electronic equipment and control software thereof, which includes creating a project of a fully functional model of a target device in the hardware description language, which simulates the behaviour of the input/output channels thereof; recording the obtained project of the model in a programmable logic circuit of a fault simulating device; performing testing on said model; in the hardware description language, creating a project of a model of the target device with faults and recording in the programmable logic circuit of the same fault simulating device; performing testing on said model; comparing the test results of the fully functional and faulty models; if no faults are detected when testing the fully functional model, and the full array of faults is detected when testing the faulty model, the radio-electronic equipment or the control software thereof have passed the test.
EFFECT: reducing the time spent and the amount of equipment used during testing.
