FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of testing electronic hardware based on hardware-software faults with routing. Method comprises the following steps: using the test process control device, creating a design of an operational and faulty models of the electronic device, which imitates behaviour of its input/output channels, recording the models into a field programmable gate array (FPGA) of the fault simulation device, forming an array of control actions, successively including faults realized in the model and specified in the array, comparing the test results against the faulty and faulty models, if during tests of faulty model of faults there is no detecting, and during faulty tests, the whole array of introduced faults is detected, electronic equipment and its control software are considered to have passed tests.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is higher accuracy of monitoring during testing by electronic equipment.
