FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: to join railway track rails the ends of rails being jointed are interconnected using device that couples them and encloses lower horizontal supports of the rails being jointed. The device placed in initial position on one of rails to be jointed with possibility of device shifting relative to rail is displaced towards the rail being jointed with overlapping its lower flat support. In final layout, the device overlaps each jointed rail for half of device length.
EFFECT: uneven wheelpair rims wear, wheel bearings and rails wear, noise generation and railway cars concussion are eliminated while increasing equipment life and improving travel conditions for passengers, especially in metropolitan trains.
