SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cooking units with suction of kitchen vapors. The cooking unit (1) with one or several burners (2) comprises, with view on top, one or several recesses (4) only in the part (25) around the geometrical center (3) of its surface, connected with one or several devices (5) for suction of kitchen vapors. The devices (5) for suction of kitchen vapors remove downwards the kitchen vapors, forming or formed over the burner or the burners, in the vertical direction passing under the cooking unit (1). On the lower side (35) of the cooking unit (1) a device (36) is provided, forming, together with the cooking unit (1) the assembly unit and intended for operation of the cooking unit (1) and for suction of kitchen vapors downwards. At that this device (36) comprises the housing (44) of the electronic unit, arranged sequentially vertically downwards on the lower side (35) of the cooking unit (1), for heating or heating and control of the cooking unit, the housing (48) for two or several radial-flow fans (38) and one or several chambers (39) for suction of kitchen vapors for removal of kitchen vapors horizontally directed outwardly, and also for formation of flow of kitchen vapors for the vertical suction directed upwards using the radial-flow fans (38) enclosed in a housing (48) located vertically above.

EFFECT: simplification and cost reduction of the structure, ease of mounting, maintenance and operation.
