FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. ESR ingots sized to 480×1800±25 mm are produced from low-ductility "04Х14Т5Р2Ф-Ш"-grade steel with bottom and shrinkage parts of ductile carbon steels, their height making 0.03-0.04 and 0.13-0.1. Ingots are turned to ingots-billets sized to 465±5×1800±25 mm to bore through central 100±5 mm-dia hole. They are heated to 1030-1050°C. Then, they are pierced at helical tolling mill to bimetal 460×ID290×2720-2940 mm sleeves with diameter reduction Δ of 0 to 2.13% and rolling-out µred. of 1.53 to 1.61. Said sleeves are rolled at Pilger mill to rerolled pipe sets sized to 287×11×25600-27800 mm with rolling-out µn=10.50 and diameter reduction Δ=36.96%. Machining wastes are removed therefrom to produce 550-600 mm-long pipe ends of ductile carbon steels on seed side and cut to rerolled 10250-11000 mm-long pipes. First rerolled pipe after thermal straightening is cut on the side of said end to 5200±50 mm-long pipe. Second pipe is cut to two equal-size lengths, turned and bored to cylindrical; pipe-billets sized to 281.1±2×5+1.5/-1.0×52500-5500 mm shaping to hexagonal pipe-billets.
EFFECT: lower metal input.
