FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fabrication of gas filled discharger for generators of HV ns-long pulse. Proposed method comprises making of metal case shaped with cylindrical cup with flanging. Cermet assy including insulator composed of a hollow truncated cone is assembled. Larger base of said cone is connected by end weld with collar connected with transition ring. Smaller base of said cone accommodates shield with electrode with output extending in said insulator in instrument axis. Soldering of cermet assy is executed and arranged in the case against the stop with flanging. Case is coupled with transition ring by their outer edges. Electrode assy with second electrode is jointed with the case. At soldering of cermet assy after temperature rise at the rate not over 15°C a minute to solder fusion point, soldering temperature is additionally increased by 20-80°C at the rate of 15-45°C/min and cured. Note here that additional temperature increase and curing are executed for 5-12 minutes. Thereafter, temperature is decreased to normal temperature at the rate not over 7°C/min.
EFFECT: higher tightness of gas filled discharger, better mechanical and thermal characteristics of joint between metal and ceramics.
