FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to gas-discharge equipment and can be used in design of dischargers-peakers with fast switching time and high mechanical strength for portable X-ray pulse apparatus and voltage pulses generators having rise time less than 1 nanosecond. Gas-filled discharger contains shell that consists of insulator in the form of truncated cone and case in the form of metal can made up of cylinder and screwed in it cover and welded along joint, two electrodes one of which is attached to inner surface of cover and the second - to end surface of smaller insulator base. Other insulator base forms sealed joint with lower part of cylinder. On inner cylinder surface where it intersects with inner cover surface, seam is made which consists of solder, for instance silver solder - SS-72, flashed after welding of cylinder with cover.
EFFECT: enhancement of mechanical strength and reliability of discharger.
