FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas-discharge technique and can be used at development of dischargers-peakers with minor time of commutation and major mechanical strength for small-size pulse X-ray machines and voltage pulse oscillator with pulse rise time less than 1 nano-second. Gas-filled discharger contains envelope consisting of metallic casing in the from of sleeve formed by cylinder and inserted into its top part cover welded by place of connection and insulator in the form of hollow truncated cone located inside the metallic casing, two electrodes, one of which is fixed on bottom of metallic casing, and the second on butt surface of minor basis of insulator, the other basis of which formed with bottom part of cylinder hermetic connection received ensured by placement on external surface of top part of cylinder of retaining ring with flanging overlapping the place of connection of cylinder and cover herewith edges of retaining ring are welded to metallic casing, for instance argonarc welding.
EFFECT: high mechanical strength, reliability and manufacturability of gas-filled discharger.
