FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, surgery. A device for the content diversion from a body cavity comprises proximal, distal and transition parts. The parts are made of at least one barrier material with a passage extending through the device. The device has a support structure in the proximal and distal parts. The parts are configured to expand from the initial position for fixation. A mechanism of preferential inflection of the support structure is configured to curve one of the segments of the device at a curvature radius.
EFFECT: device makes it possible to divert the contents of the patient's body cavity postoperatively if the surgery has ended in forming a hole or a stoma in the body cavity wall.
