FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: granular material or fine-grained powder of titanium dioxide, or zirconium dioxide, or stannic oxide or their mixture is used as initial material for the matrix. The matrix material is provided with anion exchange properties by its mixing with strongly acidic solution containing hexachloride or tetrachloride complexes of the platinum group metals in mixture with hydrochloric acid. As result of the ion exchange process a suspension is produced, it contains anion complexes of the platinum-group metal linked with the specified dioxides. The suspension solid phase is washed, then anion complexes are restored to metals. For this to solid phase powder of the metal zinc is added till its complete dissolution, or glycerine, or glycerine solution, or ethylene glycol with further mixture drying during heating and cooling. The produced product is washed and dried.

EFFECT: increased concentration of platinum-group metals in nanocomposite.
