FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes first preparing, at 25-50°C, a solution containing, wt %: polyacrylonitrile - 4.58; CoCl2·6H2O - 1.86; NiCl2·6H2O - 1,86; dimethyl formamide - 91.7, and holding until complete dissolution of all components. Dimethyl formamide is then removed by evaporation at 25-70°C. The obtained solid residue is heated with infrared radiation in two steps at pressure of 10-2-10-3 mmHg, wherein the first step is carried out for 5-15 minutes at 100-200°C while heating at a rate of not more than 20°C/min, and the second step is carried out for 5-15 minutes at 270-800°C while heating at a rate of not more than 50°C/min. The obtained polyacrylonitrile-based CoNi/C nanocomposites contain CoNi nanoparticles with size of 10-80 nm.

EFFECT: method is simplified by avoiding additional external reducing agents.
