SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of synchronising content. The method comprises connecting a first device to a second device according to a specific protocol; in response to a specific event for the video content or the electronic book content occurring in one of the first and second devices, generating event information about the specific event and transmitting the event information to the other one of the first and second devices by the device in which the specific event occurred; performing the specific event according to the generated event information by the device in which the specific event occurred; performing, by the other device that received the event information, the specific event according to the received event information in synchronisation with the device in which the specific event occurred, using synchronisation information between the video content and the electronic book content, wherein the first and second devices have the synchronisation information.
EFFECT: synchronising multimedia content and electronic book content.
