SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to techniques for controlling display of content. Disclosed is a method of controlling display of content, executed in a portable device. Method includes a step of receiving a display plane from a remote device, operating to generate a presentation. Display plane comprises a first content source window indicating content from a first content source, and the timeline, which indicates presentation to be presented on presentation device. Timeline sets sequence and movement in time of content from first content source and content from second source content to said presentation for presentation device. Further, method comprises determining command information for modification of timeline, so that it includes content from first content source and content from second content source.
EFFECT: technical result is improved control of displaying content, with possibility of determining command information for modifying timeline.
