The content delivery device includes: a generation unit for generating a video switching command, which enables the content reproducing device to perform processing relating to switching the reproduced video content; a broadcasting unit for broadcasting video content with the embedded generated video switching command via a broadcasting network; and a distribution unit for distributing video content over the Internet.
