SUBSTANCE: tracking assistance device for assistance to the monitoring person in tracking of the moving object displayed on the monitoring screen on which the types of display for real time imaging of captured images made by the respective cameras are located in the image of the map representing a monitored zone according to the actual arrangement of cameras is offered, which comprises: the targeting unit to be tracked which in response to the input operation performed out by the monitoring person in one of types of imaging for designation of moving object to be tracked establishes the designated moving object as the target to be tracked; the prediction unit which predicts the following type of imaging on which the moving targeted object to be tracked will appear next time, on the basis of the information of tracking obtained by processing of the captured images; and the unit of indication of imaging type which indicates the next type of imaging in the monitoring screen.
EFFECT: ensuring of continuous tracking, even when interruption or error occurs during tracking, reduction of loading in tracking of moving object.
