Result is achieved by the fact that a surveillance system includes a search condition setting device (31) which sets a search condition according to a user operation, tracking target installer (32), which sets as a tracking target, a subject specified by the operation of the monitoring subject, to select a tracking mark on the tracking target search screen, displaying the video image corresponding to the search condition, presenter (39) of an acknowledgment video image which displays a tracking target confirmation screen which displays only a video image of a subject having the highest probability of being a subject specified as a tracking target from each camera as a confirmation video image, video display period setting device (33), which when the tracking mark is not displayed in the tracking target on the tracking target search screen, sets the video image display period according to the user operation, and intra-camera tracking information corrector (26), which corrects tracking information to display an acknowledgment video image on the tracking target confirmation screen based on the video image display period.
EFFECT: providing an interface to an operator, which reduces probability of losing a field of view of a tracked moving object.
