FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods and a device for tyre preparation for repair, namely, to methods and a device for tyre preparation for patch application. The technical result is achieved by the method of tyre preparation for patch application, which includes selection of a depth marking template, used to form multiple holes of depth marking in the area of patch placement. At the same time the template has many openings, each passing through thickness of the template and corresponding to one of many marking holes. Selection of a material removal element for fixation to a mechanical tool made as capable to form holes of depth marking on the surface of a tyre using the depth marking template. Putting the template in interaction with the tyre surface. Formation of depth marking holes on the tyre surface, which enter the tyre for the specified depth, to facilitate formation of the deepened area of patch placement within the tyre by introduction of the material removal element into each of the openings in the template. Removal of the template from the tyre surface. Removal of the remaining material of the tyre in the area of patch acceptance using the material removal element to depth of one or more holes.
EFFECT: increasing accuracy and quality of tyre preparation for application of the patch.
