FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: coating contains astralenes in amount of 0.005-0.5 wt %, distributed across the entire volume of the silver. The method includes electrochemical deposition of silver from a silver plating electrolyte in the form of an aqueous suspension containing astralenes in amount of 0.15-0.5 g/l, and holding in a suspended state in the electrolyte during electrochemical deposition by subjecting the electrolyte to ultrasonic vibrations.
EFFECT: wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
