FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: vibration detectors are installed in one plane mutually orthogonally with the point of intersection of detector axes projections on a technological axis of an engine. Vibration signal is processed by multilevel filtration of the obtained vibration signal in which operating field of rotor frequencies is identified. The value of rotor movement is considered within the intervals of the above field by two coordinates whose direction coincides with the directions of detectors' axes to get the energy orbit of the shaft of the rotor in question. The obtained energy orbit is compared to the predetermined energy orbit of a master engine and basing on the comparison results the technical state of the rotor support is evaluated. Monotony of the energy orbits is the criterium for their comparison. Faultless rotor support at vibration signal fixation allows for the obtainment of a shaft energy orbit in the form of an ellipse. Presence of rotor faults is indicated by bends and extremums appearing on the ellipse.
EFFECT: faster operation and lower labour content at diagnostics of a rotor support at a gas-turbine engine, higher accuracy of the obtained result.
