FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining N,N,N-tri[(phenyl(benzyl)sulphanyl)-methyl]amines (1), which consists in the interaction of phenyl(benzyl)thiols of the general formula R-SH [R is said above] with hexamethylenetetramine with the participation of the catalyst samarium nitrate crystallohydrate, applied on γ-Al2O3 Sm(NO3)2*6H2O/γ-Al2O3, taken in the stoichiometrical ratio thiol:hexamethylenetetramine 60:10, which is characterised by the fact that the reaction is carried out in the presence of the catalyst samarium nitrate crystallohydrate, applied on γ-Al2O3, with the content of the catalyst Sm(NO3)2*6H2O/γ-Al2O3 in the reaction mass of 0.03-0.07 wt % relative to hexamethylentetramine in chloroform as the solvent at a temperature of 50-70°C and atmospheric pressure for 3-5 h.
EFFECT: output of N,N,N-tri[(phenyl(benzyl)sulphanyl)-methyl]amines (1) constitutes 91-99%.
